Loutra Edipsou
The baths at Edipsos in northern Evia have been attracting illustrious visitors for many years. It has been known for the hot baths (more than 80 thermal baths) that are therapeutic.
Edipsos and Northern Evia in general is ideal for visiting throughout the year. While you are staying here, you can visit the Monastery of Dormition of Virgin Mary built in baroque style in the central square of the village; the Archaelogical collection at Loutra; the mountainous village of Polylofos to enjoy a panoramic view to Aidipsos and the Gialtra Gulf and the women’s monastery of Aghios Georgios.
On the north-western side of Évia lies the Lihada peninsula, which is home to some of the most beautiful beaches of the island. You can reach those verdant tropical islets- known as the “Greek Seychelles”- either by ferry from Aghios Georgios or from Aghios Kostantinos.
Some activities you can do are water-related, like scuba diving and fishing, but you can also enhance your wellbeing by hiking and mountain biking here in the heart of Evia.
